There are definite differences. The throttle body on my 1979 has a shaft that does not stick out of the throttle body at all. Kind of hard to put a TPS like that! Also, the top vacuum port on the right with the 90 degree bend is not there.
When going EFI, I sourced a throttle body exactly like yours. I used the Rasant TPS adapter and had to modify it extensively to get it to work.
Hopefully someone can suggest a plug and play for your throttle body. Two other providers you can check are Clewett Engineering and Turbokraft.
