My 870 started rusting in the Bay Area salt hunts. And pumping really pulls you off target in the follow up shots (I mean shooting several birds, right?

).
I found a used SBE2 in camo, which is all coated, on calguns, traded a .22 pistol I never shot and a couple hundred bucks. I have been putting the HURT on the birds with this gun. I found that I don't need the 3.5" capability (shooting 3" cheap ammo). You need to go for it. The SBE2 is deadly reliable. I have had exactly 0 feeding issues. It has gone bang every time in about 1500 rounds. Cold, wet, salty etc. Keep an eye out - they do come up used every now and then. Best in the off season ...
Edit: They come up used when someone dies. I don't see any other reason someone would sell a SBE2.
