I just read the plug question ...
CAREFUL: Your gun is not to hold more than 3 shells INCLUDING what is chambered. So, the magazine needs to only hold
2 shells.
If it has a plug for 2.75" now, that will allow 5.5 inches worth of shells to load. If you want to load 3" shells on your upcoming trip, you will need 6 inches worth of room.
Since 6:3 is 2", you are sure you will not be able to fit 3x2.75 shells.
Even if you have a gun that holds 3.5:
7" room to load 3.5" shells
7:3=2.34"
So, a plug in my SBE2 to limit to 2 shells of 3.5 will limit all other shells down to 2.75. AND THAT'S WHY YOU NEED A BENELLI!
