I have a little experience with Talbot mirrors ( as over the last 20 years I've owned over 60 pairs ) and these are definitely not reproductions , to my knowledge the last time Porsche offered to Talbot mirrors as an option was 1968 although Porsche being Porsche would accommodate anybody if you were willing to pay an upcharge for whatever option you wanted installed on the cars , of course if you picked up your car at Zuffenhausen you had a much larger range of options then if you ordered your car from a dealer in the US , since the Talbot mirrors were popular many people ordered them as options even into the 70s although this style of Talbot mirror as far as I know was never offered as an option for a Porsche 911
