Thanks for the investigation.
I also had done some investigating, having gone to the Brembo site for application information. I couldn't quite tell from their info, but as you mention it seems they were for the 993/996.
One of the shops that had actually done the install on my factory-turbo-powered 993 C2 also weighed in. Says "....different mounting bolt pattern, and different rotor offset..." I had an purchase inquiry from a person with a 997.2. I didn't know if there were mounting brackets that would work as well as some hats, but at this point I'll just tell the person "....it's probably more trouble than it's worth..."
