The Fifteen Minute Cup Holder

This is the fastest, cheapest mod I have ever done. inspiration came from the Queen’s thread, but with a twist. The mount moves forward and backward with the passenger seat and is very low profile visually and doesn’t interfere with passenger seating. The cage accommodates large to small cups and containers and holds them very securely.

1 water bottle cage, plastic so no one gets hurt
1 L shaped bracket commonly used to hang drapes or blinds
3 nuts and screws with lock washers

1 Philips screw driver
2 wrenches/spanners
A drill if needed
Hack saw

Use the hack saw to cut off the curved top piece of bottle cage since it will interfere with you beverage.
Drill slightly larger holes in the L bracket to accommodate the nuts and bolts you have selected.
Mount the short length of the bracket to the mounting holes of the cage
Unscrew the two cover screws on the front of the seat, if you have a cover.
Use one of two holes on the left side of the seat to mount the cage. Use lock washer and threadlock.
Replace plastic seat front cover.
Slightlybend the bracket forward if needed.
Done, have a beer since you just saved $60 over the commercially available ones.

Note, does not come with footwell mood lighting. Could have painted the bracket black if I had 10 more minutes but was rushing to go out to a show. Probably will do that soon and move the bracket out just a touch. The cup size shown is grande.
