1). Wide 24" scoop reduces total walking. I finished in about 1/3rd the normal time and am not trashed.
2). High sides keep snow in for clean lines.
3). Lightweight. Not a feather but this thing is made sturdy. Broke two last year and this one is a good balance.
4). Metal strip cuts though ice mounds. I didn't notice any twisting or looseness.
5). Even has a crosshatch where it's gripped.

Work some liquid carnuba wax into all the crevices and this thing will glide effortlessly.

Impressive, it looks like the handle shaft runs almost all of the way down to the edge to support the shovel head. My only thought would be if it's that wide and deep, and you get heavy, wet snow, that might be a pain (heavy) to shovel compared to a smaller head.

I've heard that the rate of heart attacks goes up in the winter from all of the old couch potatos shoveling snow.
