Opinions on value and would you list my car on BAT
I have a non original 1988 Targa Grand Prix White with Black. Transplanted row 3.3L turbo motor and a G50 LSD. I love that it is a sleeper. I refer to it as more of a Jekyll and Hyde car. Perfect Sunday cruiser and GT car on the highway.
2 years ago I purchased it based upon my mechanics opinion (Eisenbud’s) who had actually serviced it the past 2 owners. I guess it needed a valve job in 2009 around 120,xxx miles and the owner opted to swap it with a turbo motor out of Slant nose 930. Roughly 14,000 miles ago.
The Good
I have the last 2 owners records since 1995 with 45,000 miles.
High quality repaint in 2013
Turbo motor is less than 3% across all cylinders.
Mechanically and cosmetically great.
Always a Colorado car so no rust and it shows no signs of ever being hit.
The last owner since 2007 had approximately 25k in receipts so the car has few if any needs.
My thoughts are since it’s non-original BAT might be the wrong audience. This is definitely a car you have to drive to appreciate.
I am considering selling it in the Spring.
