I think I may actually be in that weird wormhole now. Not having any luck selling my car for $32k asking price, thinking I may have to try that strategy next. Plenty of flippers throwing low-ball offers out though...:-)
I had a call this weekend from one of those companies that want you to fork over $$$ to let them advertise on your behalf. The guy tells me my car is way underpriced. Says he'd advertise it at $40k and I should easily be able to walk away with $35K...I think he's smoking dope in this market, and at this time of year.

We don't sell any cars between Thanksgiving and early Spring, March/April because you basically have to wholesale them to another flipper, because no real buyers are buying during the holidays. So if you aren't getting any action, it's just the time of year, not your car, or your price.
