one of the reasons for hunting a old used unit
is avoiding the near universal CPU control of newer stuff
fine when they work but far too often a failure point
and very expensive to replace
the non-working bosch dishwashers that fools were trying to sell
required a $250 CPU board PLUS what ever failed to knock out the board
I like the KISS principal with something as simple as a dishwasher
a clockwork timer for the sequence of always the same order of events
wash rinse dry done needs no CPU to control that
