Like a lot of things on BaT, they were a 'special Ltd edition', in that they were only available for a short time on an expensive auction site...
Don't worry though, the buyer didn't pay $6300 for them. They had to add shipping and auction expenses, so probably much closer to $7k than perhaps they would like. Not much less than I paid for my '75 project, with a set of these at each corner.
Fuschs being dumped? Bigger question is, why would someone throw that guy away? Okay, he looks like a mid-miles model, but with a little wash, brush up and detailing, would be easily workable for a chunk over minimum wage (though looking at his overalls, might be expensive to run, as he seems to have an expensive hobby).
