That's a nice Monster you got there, mister. If I had more sense, I would have looked at those instead, as this 748 is pretty uncomfortable when tooling around town. But when I "assume the position" and get tucked in, with that mellodious cacauphony of whirlybits churning between my legs, I'm in Nirvana. I love the v-twin roar, the rattling dry clutch plates, the Hand of God Brembos, the green tach, how my chest rests against the tank, etc. I hopped on my BMW to ride home from the dealer, and while it's a cool and funky bike, I felt like an old man on a Gold Wing. Only problem with the Duc is that I have to find a place to mount the biggest stick I've ever had to carry, to fight off the hoardes of admiring women.
