A Different Stick-On Mirror for HP2S

These stick-on mirrors are purchased from Walgreens. They are a tad different in that they can be rotated around an axis for different angles relative to home plate mirror They work well IMO.

Too bad they're ugly, John. To really evaluate them, park the bike out so you can observe unseen and notice what people do. Do they walk up to it and point and smile? Any head shakes?

Well, they work, I can see the spare on the trailer. I mounted mine on the inside though.

Sergio, I didn't want to clutter up the beautiful view of my forearm(s) so I picked the outside.

I think the mirrors are just fine...and I've often wondered why the OEM's don't make mirrors of that sort standard. Perhaps not on all uber autobahn burners, but any bike that is ever ridden on the streets (at least in this country) needs all the help it can get with the idiot cagers "sharing" the roads.

But of course I like this idea...I even did similar things to Ducati's owned in the past. On the freeways watching the crazies come up from behind is quite valuable IMHO.

Cheers! BJ

Traffic in my area is always quite heavy. Crazy and mean-spirited cagers make rear mirrors a very important safety item, even for an uber autobahn cycle.

Kinda like curb feelers on a 911 On a positive note, they should prevent neck fatigue.

I understand the HP2Sport offers the option in the computer to replace all that race/lap reporting stuff with a 1 Gig MP3. You can ride with music! Imagine. Don't have to put up with all that mechanical/exhaust noise.
That's what I'd do. But then what do I know?

Sorry, John. I'm just being a goofball tonight.

I'll stick with the Ducati salute for looking backward on my HP2S. It's cheaper. Besides, then I'll know when it's time to take a shower.

Thanks, I think I found the threaded hole on the left because of your previous post.

okay, somebody's got to step in here and put an end to the madness.

here you guys are, strutting your high-buck farkle-transporters....and you're GOING TO WALGREENS for mirrors? the same guys that sell old-folk diapers, pregnancy tests and fancy party crackers?

what's wrong with you people?
is this the kool-aid syndrome we've all read about?

there's this interweb thing, i think it's called giggle, or toogle, or something like that.
in that vast pixel wasteland, you'll find rear view cameras, most often marketed to the bicycle crowd.

fer instance, here's one that retails for $200. you can also get different lenses, to give you more of a fish-eye view:

come on you guys. stick on mirrors, swivel mirrors, extended mirrors and now walgreens.
you people have no idea how many of us are living vicarously through you with the hp2s.
our hopes and dreams are being dashed. what next? K-Mart for carbon fiber? 7-11 for oil? the 99-cent Store for final drive fluids?

i think i speak for many of us out here when i say that we had higher hopes for you, we don't think you're living up to your potential, you'd do better if you applied yourself, doesn't pay attention in class (whoops, cancel that last one...i was drawing from an old report card for source materials).

if you don't turn your lives around NOW, you HP (High Priced) Too S owners might just need an intervention. yep. a bunch of us could just show up in your garage, take away your toy (remember, nail is making a list) and force you into a 27 step program.
