No big deal. How did you manage to own such a fine bike without being a Pelican?

Snot a perk mentioned in the owner's manual.

Same with me, I just picked up my bike two weeks ago, now, I am a Pelican-head...
I rode from Detroit to Louisville the first day of owning it, it has renewed by faith in BMW after the nothingness that is RT ownership...

That is a good looking bike you have there! I wish mine had a lower fairing like yours. That really dresses it up. |

Be careful on knocking the RT, with the right driver it can hold its own. Rolls and Mission my friend Rolls and Mission.

No knocks on the RT, just not my thang...
I wanted to like it, I really did. Just a bit sedate and a little too heavy for me. And the linked brakes, well, I never warmed up to them.
Ifr my wife liked riding more I would've kept it, she doesn't and as a result its kind of like picking up the kids from soccer practice in a Kenworth - overkill. Otherwise an all-day ride that can be hustled through sweepers, no question.
