Anyone tried this foot peg kit?

Has anyone tried this Foot Peg Lowering Kit from Twisted Throttle. It is much cheaper than Suburban Machinery. Not sure how the shifter or brake will work / line up.

TwistedThrottle.com : MFW Vario Footpeg Mount, Passenger (BMW R1150R, R1150RS, & R1100S) - MFW.051.02.02.10

Any thoughts out there?:

yeah, i did and i hated it. with the stock pegs your heels will rest right on the heel guards/frame rails which to me is a comfortable position. with those pegs, your instep is going to ride that extension blade, and your heels will be an inch away from the heel guards. i didn't like the way the shifter and brake lined up either. you may love it

my $0.02

I just got the set with the supergrip pegs on the R12S a month or two ago. Not all positions work (and they warn you that it may be the case) but I've got them forward and down a bit now. adjusted the shifter position and it feels good for commuting and general riding. I will next try a back and up position and see how it goes). The pegs feel much more positive and are well made machined alloy. No vibe issues either which I wondered about going away from the rubber insert.

I'm reasonably happy especially if I can find a reasonable track position for those occasions. I don't use the back brake a lot anyway but not finding that to be a problem at the moment.

I have the same issue shred. I just finished "converting" my CBR1000RR to a sport-tourer. Sport touring windscreen, gel seat, Apex bars and risers, and the MFW pegs. The pegs appear to be well made and are adjustable, BUT, because of the design, the pegs are at least an inch farther out, requiring me to angle my feet inward to operate the shifter and rear brake. I haven't ridden the bike yet, but I don't like making compromises when it comes to controls. I'll try it tomorrow, but I suspect the OEM pegs will be back on.
