my R12S stands without peer, except for what's going on over the pond. I will be very interested to compare the power characteristics of the 2 engines, my expectation is that they will be very similar, with the HP2S maybe a bit buzzier due to the missing counterbalancer, and the R12S perhaps quicker revving due to the Wossners. I am sure once I get done tweaking the HP2S, it will exceed what I have accomplished with the R12S

shred is one of those guys who takes a brand new xacto knife blade out of the package and immediately walks over to his micro-sharpener to give it a proper edge.
probably also adds just a hint of curl on the left of the leading edge, to accommodate being right handed and all...

from what i've seen his stuff doesn't blow up, yet he grabs it by the neck/ears/balls quite often.
if it was my factory-backed shop, i'd find room for him and toss him various projects with the caveat: "make it go better, don't let it blow up."
perfect guy for the job.
apparently blending things in the correct ratios is what he actually does for a living (i think), so it makes perfect sense.
probably one of those guys who could successfully hop-up a pocket watch.

the part i appreciate most about his projects is the fact that it's not my money.

Where are the details? Why did you decide to do it? Did the S get traded? Sold? Keeping both? Is the HP new? In hand? On order?

What are the first impressions? Plans? Tests?

i didn't buy the damaged bike, I posted that as what I thought might be a good deal for somebody else.

i bought a 2009 with 1400 miles from a collector and it comes with a new full ti Akra still in the box. I always struggled with the estimated $10,000 upgrade cost (purchase price of new bike, minus sale price of R12S), and I have managed to get it to $6000 including the very rare and pricey Ti Akra, which when taken in consideration with being fully employed makes it extremely palatable. I have waited patiently and the HP2S has come to me on my terms.
