Hmmz. He and I weren't in each others fan club but people leaving and wanting their accounts deleted is not generally a good thing.

Well, I hope he comes back. Not everyone agrees with everyone's posts, but it's a VERY rare person we're better off without, and Nail would be missed by many. Shame to lose folks.

Well, I for one find that at best, hyperbolic, and at worst, untrue, and in any event, unproductive or helpful. People have been asked to settle down on both sides, some did, and some left, and depending on whose views your own tended to align with, you either liked the result, or, didn't.

Personally, I can disagree with someone a LOT, and not one them to leave.

I have been on here about 8 years and the last 2 years have been somewhere between tech forum and the Jerry Springer show. I like it here..its a small group of mostly knowledgeable guys that like to talk motorcycles and some other stuff, thats why I am here.

I have sort of lost my childhood motorcycle friends, that we talked them and rode them all the time...you get older it seems you get spread apart and some drop out.
Still have a lot of riding buddies but not all the time like I had when I was young. I feel like a get a little bit of that here...

I took a break one time...it was needed...came back with a different outlook... for the most part to look past some of the crap.

Roger, you are doing the best you can do...thats it...don`t apologize for it,(Nils this is not a slam on you, I respect and agree with your thought on this) but Roger you are doing what you can. Myself and I am sure most others appreciate that....I would not be able to be a Mod. for many reasons....one is I never wanted kids. lol

Be safe,
Lane

Ditto, much as I like them, and yet here I stand (sit/type). Never cared much for they eye-pokers OR the tattle-tales.

Roger;

It wasn't pointing finger at you
I think most people on this board are nice guys
I have met a few of them over the years, been
on this board for 12 years now.

Well that's a shame... this place will NOT be the same without him (inserting his opinion in to any thread he wished). He had a certain style, which was, obviously, unique.

Understand that EZ. I just thought that even if, say, one meant Ralf, that it was perhaps a bit over the top. Unlike some, I've just accepted that Nail will profusely post, and that some Ralf and others will chide, and that it all kind of finds some sort of (un?)natural balance. Hell, I've been called a baby killer (I'm pretty sure it's not true) and am still here. Thick skin helps, or at least pretending you have it.
