A sad way for me to make it back onto the forum to say G'day to you blokes. Not quite as long away as gigantic was, just over 5 years since I posted on the forum.....
But like gigantic, I was gutted to hear of Brad's passing. Obviously, I live in Australia so I never met the guy but I do remember him and his posts on this forum. Reading this thread made me quite emotional, I'm not embarrassed to say. I've been reading quite a few threads and really enjoying that. Anyway, my condolences are a few years late but they are heart felt & genuine.... |

I really miss the TC rides with you guys. I run into Tony (TM1100) once in a while but will need to make a concerted effort to reconnect this summer. Work has picked up in a major way so I haven't been riding as much as I would l would like. My R12S is in Asheville NC and I'm headed out for a week of riding mid-May. Can't wait and will be thinking of Brad, Jeff, and all you hooligans-
Mike

Will do Mike. I'm meeting with a friend who lives there and others like me who just visit whenever we can. Awesome roads for M/C riding and lots of friendly people to meet along the way.

There will be a 2 stroke and 70, 80 and 90's Superbike event at TWoS May 18th and 19th if you need an excuse to ride that way.

Thanks for the tip! Sounds cool and we've often run across the 2-strokes at the Tail. There are many excuses to ride that way and we were planning an excursion deeper into TN than the usual. Might work out on the way back to She-ville.

I have a Norwegian friend that I hate. He is tall and distinguished looking with wavy grey hair and an accent. I look in a mirror and think old, white, serial killer.

Thinking about Brad today. Gone for 8 years now, but not forgotten. He had a black female poodle, Zoe, that had 50 times the energy I had when I played with her while staying at his house. She was a medical alert dog for him. Later, I had a chance to get a poodle and got a black female like Brad had. Almost the same name- Zora, after my grandmother.
