Replace climate control unit

For my 2002 S with the climate control at bottom of console, wondering how difficult to replace the unit. Have not even looked at the mounting of the unit. Anyone know of any procedure available. Did some searching but could not find anything.

Thanks
mike

just pull the small black plastic trim out with a small pick and there are 4 screws. and then you got to get it coded at a dealership.

As BT911 said, it pulls out quite easily after removing the trim and mounting screws. I moved mine to the top of the center console, replacing the cupholders. Is your unit not working, hence the question? I was not not aware they had to be coded to specific cars.

It is working but the lcd is starting to creep inwards from the right side. Have a replacement that I want to just swap in.

you have to code it to allow the values of the flaps to get set and caliberated
