Late Summer... wish it could be sooner (Summer is so short here in Michigan), will definitely be buying a copy.

Just curious, will you be offering any signed copies?

actually.. that is my list (I see a few pieces added).. it appears to be roaming around the web now

It appears somebody took it from one of my Quickbooks invoices. It is short a few pieces, but covers most everything.

GaryR originally posted that list, I simply noted which ones were covered in the book. Hence, the confusion. I'm not sure why GaryR deleted his post, but I requoted it in my response.

It's the list from Brad's WEBSITE and quite public, I was just being mischievous.. I thought it was funny he posts it must be from one of his Quickbook files... me being a super spy hacker and all. Now what IS funny is he seems to have pulled the "Kit" list! **Brad Roberts Automotive Group** B*R*A*G Brad Roberts, A.G. Introduces BoxsterSpec.com

Two of my racing friends have been waiting MONTHS for some of the parts needed to build their cars (ordered and paid in full in advance) so i'm going to have to vote B.R.A.G. off the show.

I pulled the complete kit because we are moving to a new facility at Willow Springs race track right now and a lot of the pieces are back ordered from the manufacturers (springs/tranny mounts/etc) causing the delays. Charlie and Colin must have not informed you that I'm flying in to personally assist them in the build of the cars because of the parts delays (most of which I have ZERO control over) I cant really do any more than that

Honestly,

that list was from a Quickbooks estimate. Not my website.

I'm looking forward to Waynes new book. I personally know about 90% of the people who contributed to the book, so it should make for some good reading!!!!

Glad to hear you are helping them out Brad, but as I created that list I can attest that it was a compilation of your parts list from the web site and from what I added to it from my own investigations into a build. No quickbooks, no estimate, just a bit of investigation.

I believe they replace the original wheel "bolt-type" studs with permanent studs with steel lug nuts using a "quick-start" bullet nose stud.

Brad Roberts

So I proceed to order a billet steering coupler from Brad Roberts Automotive Group. Then after I am unable to get a shipping date or responses to emails and telephone messages I find posts about him being a scam artist. Is this true?

Protip:

When all the products on a website are actually products made by other engineering companies/race prep companies, and all the pictures of such items are the same pictures of the items found elsewhere on the internet, and the website has no contact or address... it's probably best not to go spending thousands of dollars at said website without knowing some people who have ordered from it before.

Just sayin'

Scammer

Well thank goodness I did not spend anywhere near thousands of dollars. Perhaps this board should ban scammers since their ability to post here lends some legitimacy to them.

Just my opinion.

I tried to order parts from him back in dec/jan for my spec boxster. At that point, he stopped replying to emails and took down the site, but didn't collect money from us yet.

But I have friends that did receive parts from him prior to that. If you have paid, I would try to stop the credit card charge, at least until he responds.

TR - I sent you a PM.

Edit: I just followed your other thread, and these are not for a boxster. I don't think they will fit.

Boxster Projects

Wayne,
I am please to see that you are nearly finished with the Boxster project book. Once it is published I will be giving my wife a lot of hints that this book would be a very good birthday or Christmas present for me . Thanks for all of your hard work.
