90 Projects Completed...

The 101 Boxster book is almost done! I'm trying to get 100 done by the end of this year. I'll probably miss that date by a few days. Here's what's remaining:

Engine Swap Project
Camshaft Upgrade / Chain Tensioner Repl
Track Prep / Rollbar extension
Wheels
Personal Touches
Common Engine Failures
Convertible New Top
Trunk release cable replacement?
HVAC blower motor repl?
Rear Spoiler

Moral support would be much appreciated. Working on a project this big kindof sucks sometimes.

-Wayne

GO!!! GO!!!! GO!!!! GO!!!!! GO!!!!

Seriously, I think your book is going to help more and more DIYers look seriously at the Boxster as a great Porsche to own. ..and help those of us who already know how great the Boxster is be better DIYers. It's a win-win!

Keep it going!!

Two weeks ago I spent $1671 to have the dealer change the Throttle Body in my 2000.

It is listed as one of the project in one of your earlier posts.

Before that I spent $800 to have the overflow tank replaced at a private mechanic. Eight months later when it failed again, I paid the $800 again. (Apparently I only received a 6 month warranty for parts and labor)

ALSO a project in 101 Boxster

Soon I will need to replace all 4 O2 sensors and plan on installing the roof rack system.

ALSO projects . . .

I could continue this list

SO

Sooner the Better for me. Who Knows when the Check Engine Light will come on next...

Can we Pre-Order???

I cannot calculate how much your 101 Projects for the 911 has saved me over the years. I predict 101 for the Boxster will be an even BIGGER hit!

After you get the Boxster book all done how about 101 Projects for your Cayenne??

The "common engine failure" chapter could be a book in itself, unfortunately.

Just kidding! Mine is still running fine (when it gets out of the garage); just need to keep adding LNE parts when they are developed.

I have been considering a Boxster for DD use. I will certainly buy a copy of the book.

I am most interested in the engine swap chapter. More specifically what options there are for ECU flash.

Keep writing.

What is the expected release date?

This will go in my library, along with 101 911 Projects...fun reading even if you don't need to do most of the chapters.

A bunch of us are ready to pre-order . . .

Hopefully I won't get any CEL lights before the release.

Wayne - is there a listing somewhere of the book contents (when done of course)? Are any of the track related issues covered like replacing the oil separator with a motorsports version? Oil cooler swap?

Thanks!
