Burnt oil smell Oder when shutting off engine
Does anyone smell the burnt oil Oder after shutting off the engine and getting out of the car??? Saw a lot of complaining bout this on other forums!!

Mine does a bit. Had it up on a rack a couple of months ago and it's the cam cover's leaking a bit. I'm not going to worry about it. I check the oil levels regularly and the loss is less than a half of a quart over 5k miles.. No spots on the floor from it. A bigger hassle to fix than the results are worth...

Found out what it is, not a leak. if you get your oil changed at a dealer make sure they only put in 8.25 quarts. Hennessey here in Atlanta put 9 quarts in the Caymans. WRONG!!! Changed it myself and no oder. Apparently the oil gets churned up in the seperaters and thus that burnt oil smell shows up. I know several Cayman owners that have experienced this.
