'09 Boxster S Front Center "Grill" Insert Help
Hi,
I recently purchased an '09 Boxster S, meteor gray with 40K on the clock. I've wanted a Boxster since I first saw one in about "98. Finally after many almost buys I got one. Haven't done much to the car yet except change the cabin & air filters and changed the amber front side markers to clear. I need help with the front center bumper "grill" insert. It has come loose and I havent been able to get it to snap back in place. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions to get it back in place without removong the bumper cover. Thanks. FYI - In case anyone else is having this issue I found a post on Rennslist with the solution. Worked great! The only thing I did differently was to tape the fish line to the back of the tab so the line didn't slip when inserting thru the slots in the bumper cover. The link follows:
