Spring Drive to Kananaskis - AB
Forwarded: WRR
Our spring drive to Kananaskis is still slated for Sunday, May 25. We ll meet at the Westrock Café in Crowfoot Crossing (Calgary) at 9:30 for registration and will commence our drive from there. We ll enjoy the brunch as we have in the past and we ll cover our own bill as opposed to having a set cost. Please RSVP to Ken McDonald at ken.mcdonald@cssd.ab.ca or myself at mpolson@shaw.ca We need to have a good idea how many are coming so we can reserve seating. Thanks. Mark...

I just received a set of Z03's from Tirerack - bit cheaper than 10-10 Tire or Kal or elsewhere, even with shipping and UPS pillage. But biggest issue was that no one seemed to have stock on 16" Z3's in Calgary and delivery dates were out three weeks or so.

Haven't seen the Visa bill yet, but the 225-50's were around $125 and the 205-55's around $115 US. Math in my head puts that at about $175/$160 CDN plus $150 or so for UPS shipping/brokerage plunder and GST on a set of four. Delivery took about a week to the door.
A little more than half the local quotes (with no local stock on hand). Even 10-10 Tire (and those guys are usually great) was two to three weeks to stock S03's. I noticed Kal's been advertising them here - I didn't check with there before ordering from Tire Rack. You may have better luck here depending on your size choice. |
