Topic for Tech night in Calgary-figured out
Marc from Alpine Autowerks has graciously agreed to host a tech night in Calgary Monday August 18th at 7:00 pm.
Alpine's address is: #1, 4623 Manilla Rd. S.E. Format is casual, and so far the topic is going to be valve adjustment, and we will be coming up with more closer to the 18th. Any Porschefiles, PCNA members and guests invited. Food and refreshments will be supplied. Please email me to confirm your attendance so we can get an idea of how many people will attend. Looking forward to see you there...

I'd vote for valves... maybe brakes, shocks. Turbo tie-rods?

Hi, What is tech night? Is that some kind of event open to public? If so is there a web page with more information? Thanks -J

Tech night is just something for anyone.....A host (individual or business) puts on a night showing how to do something and everyone stands around owwing and awwing over some technical whatyamacallit..... I need some work done on my car and I was going to talk to some shops to see if they would host a tech night so ANYONE can come and ask questions and see how to do something. Some people (those with nice garages, and even nicer wives) will host a night where they and other who have done something (for example brakes) and invite the Porschefiles. I am looking to findout A. if someone will host one, and B. what people would like to see......

In my case simple stuff probably will be useful, i.e. Brakes, shifting improvements, short shift install, etc. Bye -J
