Must be summer in S'toon!

Saw more Porches in 5 minutes today than all summer so far. All in the Broadway area around lunch time, a red Targa (pre '70) and 2 Boxsters.

BTW, there's a 928 FS in the paper and another on the Mazda dealer's lot.

Cheers,

Hi Susan,
The "Mistress" demands way too much time and money. Seems that she's always on eBay looking for shiney new things. Just found some sun visors, a kph speedo, Euro side markers and tail lights, and an new bra (black!!). Then there's the nice shiney Fuchs she made me polish. Way too tiring for an old guy to keep up with...but we're having a blast. Autocross was great this week, but still a long way to go.

Nice photo, yes they are demanding aren't they. I'm trying to curb the spending on 'presents' but just had to have the clear parking light/signal light combo and the logo floor mats ...... and the extra set of rims for the track tires!

Did you check out the Porsche North Gathering info? It was a fab trip, great driving country.

And now to the weekend and Autocross Sunday, yippee!

Susan

Rod. who/Where/How/How much for the polishing of the wheels? (If you dont mind)

I saw the white one too... Widebody.... Nice....

That 928 on Mazda's lot..... Been there for like a year or more I think. Went to look at it. (Pulled up in my 911) Mofo's wouldnt let me drive it without making an offer. I says to the guy... I have never driven one, why would I make on offer on one before I do that? So I gots a 944 Turbo instead. (From elsewhere of course)

Needless to say, It will be a mighty cold day before I buy anything from MainWay Mazda.

Wow, looking good Rod. I seen my reflection in a store window when I drove by the other day. That's the only other one I seen in NB.

The wheels were already in good shape -- I just gave 'em a once over with Mothers. (Thanks again to Gary in Calgary for the Fuchs!)
That's no way for the Mazda dealer to do business -- I wonder if it was the person you saw or their policy? I spoke to Jeff Wall and he seemed pretty good -- let me drive a Mazda5 (looking for my in-laws) with zero fuss.
Apparently he's selling the 928 for the 3rd time -- keeps getting it back on trade. Always thought they were great cars but there's no way I could afford to run one.

911s are much better, anyway (Nomex suit on).

Rod.

Yeah, I am sure I could have driven just about anything else on the lot without a problem, but not the 928.

I didnt realize the wheels were already polished. I thought maybe you had yours done.......

Well, A little delay in shipping. Looks like this ship was over-booked, and they give first preference to "new" cars right from the manufacturer. Next boat isnt till roughly aug 20th.

Soooo..... Looks like not till the end of september now....
