Richard,
That above post which you just made is simply outrageous and completely false. I have contacted the moderators to have it removed and to warn you that if you continue this, you are acting in liable.
The car I have posted here is not for sale. It was sold last year. The title posted here which you had removed was a copy I made of the title you sent in order to resize it and post it on the early911sregistry.org which only allows max bandwidth of 100k or less. The Pelican Parts server automatically resizes pictures posted to under 100k.
The fact that I decided not to follow thru and buy a car you had offered me because the title for that car did not have your name on it as the owner, and the title already had another buyers name filled in which makes it invalid for resale, is the reason for your scorn. But that does not give you the right to lie and deliberately try to damage my credibility on this board.
I have not misrepresented anything about my car. You have rushed to false conclusions and are deliberately trying to question my credibility rather than your own. I have nothing to sell here. You are trying to sell a car with a dicey title.

You have been warned.

ahem, correction, you called me, and hung up abruptly before trying to educate me on selling cars. didnt let me put a word in, lecturing me on the legalities and that I had no right to sell the car and that it would be impossible to get a title in Florida! this title IS from Florida and is clear and current, but you told me you are sending it to Germany!

like I said, if this was really a pickle for you personally, I would have gotten you a Cali title in my or your name, but your charming personality rudely elected to cancel the deal and hang up. Sharp way of doing business.
I have a dozen happy customers in the EU from buying P cars from me. I am very accommodating and courteous.

you started the rudeness and name calling, I only retorted back after the hang up and the insulting email, that you were a twit accusing me of trying to pull a fast one when in fact you were grossly mis-informed citing legalities of selling and how its done, how you all know about it that you have 12 cars and that I CAN'T show you what you already are an expert at,... please the truth.
I will post the emails and the capture of the phone conversation, if you insist
that I lie and didnt play strait.
you overreacted, ruined a negotiation with rudeness and the funny stuff with the title I dont get and buy it, sorry!

funny you were quick to give the trans guy his deposit but for our deal, you told me friday that you had maxed-out sending money?maybe Saturday??sure! no good faith deposit, not like I asked for one, I trusted that having seen your user ID on the boards for awhile, that I can count on you following thru your words.

more proof that you needed to bail, in an email, I offered to acquire the title to appease your fears, and asked if you were still a buyer, why still sack the deal??? negotiations need cool heads, baby!

Richard, the title is not current. It was issued back in 1994 andis made out to a person living in Florida. The car you are selling has a different seller whose name is not listed on the title and is currently living in Southern California. Therefore, I beg to differ. The title is not current. The title holder is not the same, and the location of the vehicle is not the same. furthermore, the car is not currently registered. Therefore, the title is not current. This is typical of your misrepresentations.

Congrat's on all of your happy customers Richard. Perhaps a few of them will chime in here and speak for themselves rather than let you tell everyone how great you are for them.
I didn't hang up on you. There was nothing more to say. There was no need for you to continue to try to convince me that there was nothing wrong with the title when I know for a fact that there is - especially when I am the one paying long distance international calling rates. I want to buy a car with a clear title, and I am a serious buyer. The car does not have a clear title. If you were an honest seller, you would have told me in advance that the title was not in your name and that the buyers name had already been filled, both of which make the car unable to be retitled properly. Your friend Patrick who you are selling the car for, needs to get in touch with the person living in Florida whom the title was issued to by the Florida DMV, have him get a new copy of the title issued to him, with the buyers line blank so your friend can either retitle in CA in his own name, or skip title and write in the new buyers name. Anything else will not constitute a change of ownership and the buyer will be screwed.

The guy who I was buying the transmission from has more than 13,500 postings on the Pelican board and is a known and respected member of the early 911 community.
He is much more credible than you.

Additionally, a tranny does not need a title in order to transfer ownership.

As for being maxed out on sending money, I never said that. This is yet another example of your distorted misrepresentation of the truth. I clearly told you that I have an online bank account with B of A, and they set a $2000 per day limit on online transfers. Rather than send you $2000 per day over the course of a week, the more practical alternative was to pay it all at once as soon as the final details were cleared away. On the day I was arranging to make the complete transfer, I received the copy of the title. Sounds pretty reasonable now doesn't it?!
As for your comment about the tranny, the tranny was going to cost $2200. I paid a deposit of $500 wand planned to pay the rest in one daily transfer. The seller kindly gave me my money back when I told him the story about your car. That is more information than you deserve, but I think it is necessary that you understand how foolish your above statement about the tranny is.
As for giving you a deposit, I would have been willing to do so at the beginning, but would have wanted to see the title first. If you had sent over the copy of the title, I wouldn't have given you the deposit either.

As for cool heads, you have showed nothing but anger and uncoolness since our conversation yesterday when I confronted you about the bogus title.
Since then, you have gone on a personal witch hunt to try to portray me as a person "needing to bail", then as a crook trying to copy and use the bad title you sent me for the car you are selling o I could use it to somehow try to sell the car I have posted pictures of here. As I said before, this car was sold back in December which makes that accusation absurd on top of everything else you has misrepresented about our dealings.
And now here you are today lecturing me on keeping a cool head.
You are on some type of CSI witch hunt to prove that I was looking for a reason to bail out of the deal. The simple fact is I am unwilling to buy a car without clear title.
There is your smoking gun. A guy who won't allow himself to get pulled into an interstate legal mess over a $12000 car with a bad title.
You can believe what you want Richard. But those are the facts. Now does that seem so hard for you to understand?

still educating the masses about legalities and validity of titles???
the title is clear and valid, titles dont expire

they all told you over on the S registry that this is done all the time. stop the BS

cease and desist with the mis-information, I never got angry or called you names like you have,...if anyones interested they can view the whole debate, emails and all and see
who the rude dog is with the F words.

you jumped the gun over mis-information about a title....and bailed rudely.
end of story, and I didnt tell anyone who the buyer was. you own that one.

Granted I reacted strongly to what appeared to be a misrepresentation on your part, fraud, a much more sensitive issue, ...when you posted my title on a thread where a red 73 T is featured....duh! and what would the average Porsche owner think when seeing this???

I wonder if this happened to anyone else what they would have thought.
you bail on a transaction and minutes later after a copy of the title was sent to you,
you post said title to this thread???? not Kosher, does not look good, granted you may have wanted to downsize said title, but it certainly would raise eyebrows about the nature of this posting without any facts, and why wasnt it deleted by you once your mission was accomplished?....administrators had to take it down. I voluntarily removed references to this in an attempt to put this to rest but you have to have the last words even if they are lies. ( if the truth doesnt fit, insert a credible lie) this is all on you

stop it with your credibility already, just be real, you seemed like a nice enough guy til the rudeness wasted a perfectly kosher deal.
you oughta live more by your motto on your signature:....the title appeared like a problem to YOU and you only, whats the matter, you didnt recognize thework clothes ??? instead you bailed at the first opportunity you blew this deal on mis-information...facts,Ma'am, just the facts.

You were rude and I stayed courteous so enough lies and enough said.

Okay Richard.
Prove me wrong. Try getting clear title for the car issued from the Sate of CA. If you do, and I haven't found another car or you don't have another buyer, we can talk again.
