G'day!
|
Just put a lift table in my storage unit that has electricity. Pedal power - not hydraulic. Picked it up at Harbor Freight today using a 15% coupon. Ran just under $500. Same unit as I have at my house. These things are freaking game changers when it comes to motorcycle service, restoration, and repair!
Have to return and tighten a few nuts with my impact wrench before using. It really won't take up any more space because I envision always having one bike on it.

Check out “bike lift” thread. It’s possible to convert your hydraulic lift to a pneumatic/hydraulic lift with a harbor freight air/oil jack. A small portable compressor will be able to power it.

Thanks Steve.....but I like the simplicity of just the "foot-power" pedal. It's really not a big deal at all to jack the table up with one of my Interceptors on it. Overall.....the design of the table is outstanding, for my needs. I will be replacing the chock though with a better designed unit!

They really are a game changer. I kicked myself when I got one for not doing it sooner. I picked up their larger wheel chock as well, I found it easier when working alone.

I desperately need a lift, but moving soon and prefer not to have to move it. Were you able to get it from the truck into the building to set it up by yourself?

While i grew up on 2 smokers and had a GT380 and RZ350, I’ve always been an old bike guy. Bought this 1936 Panther 15 years ago and had it shipped to Texas. Super cool old bike, 3 speed on the tank, dry clutch 250cc sloper.

That is beautiful. But a bit too clean for a GS!

I am on a couple of British bike forums and get to see how many of the cool old bikes they still have running around in England. And yours is but one of many!

I inherited this 1923 Omega 300 from my Dad. Terrifies me every time I ride it. Lever throttle, hand change. My Old Man rode all over England and Scotland on it. Braver man than me.

It only had to slide it out of the back of my F150. I assembled it in the driveway outside my garage then rolled it in. It is very heavy, I have a bad back so I took my time and used a flat motorcycle lift to raise it up. I don't recall there being much to do. It's a good lift at a good price. I put my Road King up without complaint.
