I was picking up my wife's sewing machine from the repair shop/store. There was a guy there eyeing the Simplicity vac's, had the sales gal calling other stores to find one in stock.
I asked if he was set on the Simplicity. No. OK, we've had one and our Shark beats the heck out of it. Told him he should look into the Shark. As I was walking out with the sewing machine I heard him ask the sales gal about the Shark (which that store chain doesn't handle). I had no remorse about possibly costing them a sale. My wife's $6k sewing machine was in for service because it would shut off right after starting up. The only explanation from the repairman was that the plug was loose and she (my wife) needed to push it in better. My wife used to work at this store, teaching new owners how to use their machines. I'm pretty sure she knows how to plug it in correctly. Sorry for the off topic rant. I'm just really frustrated with this machine. If it'd been a car I would have returned it under the Lemon Law.
