I am now getting calls a few times a day asking if I had any real estate for sale.

Along with the extended warranty, IRS, Credit Card Scam calls.

I just ignore the call unless the number is one of my contacts. If it is really important, the caller should leave a VM.

Most of the calls have a NC area code too.

Think it is legit ?

Absolutely. I know a guy, and could make it go away for $100. Let me know what you want to do.

First of all, do nothing. If you hit a button all that does is verify that the robo caller machine has hit a real number. You get added to the list, not removed.

Anyone not willing to leave a massage didn't really want to talk to me anyway. Businesses use menus to screen callers, so should we. You should have to dial an additional one time code to actually make a connection.

Same here, only they spoof the local area code. I can't imagine cold calling someone like me and asking if I want to sell my house has more than a 1 in a million chance. But if you call 20 million people, that is a score.

I was bored once when "Microsoft" called and said my Windows license had expired and I needed to let them log onto my computer so they could fix it. I kept changing the subject and rambled on about going bass fishing, which I have not done in over 50 years. Or sky diving, which I have yet to try, but more likely than me bass fishing.

Then I asked if he had any hot single daughters and after wasting 30 minutes of his time he started calling me names so I reminded he called me, and I called him some names and the low life hung up on me.
