I love Cadillacs. The older, the better.

I remember a tv show about cars. The host was from Europe and born in the late 40s. He said all cars were little tiny things. He came up visit friends that lived in the USA. They picked him up in a late 50s Caddy. He said he was completely gobsmacked by the Caddy. It was huge, powerful, covered in chrome and had the height of comfort and style. Unlike anything he has ever seen.

One of the other guys and I went out at lunch time to look for a disconnected hose or bad wire splice. I wondered out loud about the points. We looked and they were eaten up. For years i considered it standard procedure to carry a match book or two in the glove compartment, amazing that they were always .016" thick give er take.

Just decoded the tag.
She's had a color change.
Original color is baroque gold.
Repaint may be in the future, but after brakes, steering and suspension.

Sure it is nice but it is no Pontiac!

Back in high school a lady friends parents MADE her drive their old Caddy (for safety).

Not sure what year but it had the big pointy fins with two bullet taillights on each fin.

Across the street where her best friend lived they had an old MB, being the boy I was always called on to do the driving, had some great fun in those cars.

Actually, fuzzy dice in a car like that always makes my skin crawl a little. No one on earth was putting fuzzy dice in a new 1967 car and certainly no one was doing it 5 or 10 years later when it was aged a little.

Fuzzy dice were a cheesy 1950s thing. I just don't like it when people don't know their eras.

Same w all of the pimp references. It's true that pimps drove Cadillacs at one time but 99.99% of those cars were sold new to Protestant crackers, as conservative and Republican as they come. Instead of some stupid Super Fly costume, you should dress up like this to drive it:

Well, I found a pair of fuzzy dice in the glove box.
They're hanging on the mirror now.
