How much does the caddy weigh ? The rear quarters make the trunk look the size of a pick up
That is a great looking car good luck with it .

I don't like it when people display passive aggression, to try to look superior, and don't know their facts: As times changed and racing became an organized sport, the kitschy dice remained part of car culture into the 1980s. https://www.thoughtco.com/history-of-fuzzy-dice-527558 Mid 70's caddy almost killed me. Had a 4/6/8 cylinder auto switch system to try to save gas at the time. Throttle stuck, lucky even as a young inexperienced driver, I threw it into neutral and pounded the gas a few times, it recovered.

Oh FFS, put some wide white walls on it and knock yourself out. Those went out in about 1961. Wear a stupid "white guy's impression of a black pimp from 40 years ago" costume. Hang some dice from your Cadillac and throw in those plastic, skin-colored nuts hanging from the rear bumper. Mix your metaphors. Look like an idiot. It's a free country.

Nice!
I got a 1984 Biarittz vert last year out of Detroit. A pelican checked it out for me before I bought it and had it shipped to eastern PA. Only drive it around the neighborhood.

The 60's caddy's exude power and prestige.
When you owned a caddy you had arrived..and we're allowed into the country club. |

Thanks for all the encouragement guys.
Would never have bought something like this, but it fell in my lap. The more I drive it the more I love it. Built a shed that fits 5 Porsches, and had to move two of them to fit this beast in!!

I would like something like that Cadillac with an electric motor conversion. It wouldn’t need range. Just lots of torque for cruising the town, and doing some epic, smoky burnouts
.

![]() What are you 12 years old... The guy who bought that in 67 was at least in his 40's and thought of himself as a bit of a Country Club rake*... The Gross Vehicle weight on that land yacht is probably close to 5000 lb... so how many electric motors is that going to take to move it? *That is a sporty well to do charming to the ladies sort of guy for you kids who don't know nuthin.

When a friend helped me unload my T-bird we took it on an unlicensed drive around the block
We felt like two twelve year olds stealing moms car. ...and the slow ride was so cool :-)

Looks like a fun project - if you can find a way to bring that back to drivable condition without too much trouble.
My family still has a mid-60's big-block Dodge product in the garage. My dad bought that new; my mom has had it ever since. I learned to drive in that car. Original paint, interior, engine, trans, everything - but everything needs to be gone through to make it safe. It won't physically fit in my garage (car is too long) otherwise it would be at my house. I often dream of restoring it, upgrading the brakes, and putting in a modern transmission behind the big block after converting it to TBI. Not a practical car, but would be a nice cruiser. There is nothing quite like big Detroit iron from that era... |

Nice car! Reminds me of the `67 Bonneville I drove back way when I was a teen and this
![]() IIRC, both had the same turning radius.

That's a cool 67 BK. If I was going for a 60's Caddy convert, it would have to be a 64.
