Talk to any car painter, they'll all tell you that black and white are as difficult as any to match correctly. The idea that there's only one black in the whole color spectrum is not accurate.

I agree with the OP. AF1 as it is presented today is a great looking airplane. Leave it.

I have no strong preference. I know that a local design firm did the current 747 paint layout. ...spring boarding off of the 707 design of POTUS Johnson era.

I kind of like the flying flag look of "Trump's proposal." -I fully expect that a group of designer came up with that, and not Trump doodling on Photoshop. But.... if it helps feed the TDS rage....

The country is doing well when AF1 paint scheme is the angst of the day.
