Oh yeah, I don't know how much insulation you have in the ceiling of garage/floor of the room, but more would maybe be better.

I actually just saw that video a while back. It seems like YouTube has two main types of DIY "AC", the one you showed and the one where you point a fan into a cooler of ice and have cold air blow out a port.

Yes, today sucked but at least the heat is supposed to break now...it's the 3, 4, 5+ days of over 100 that start to really suck!
