Air Force flew them as well. Surprising big aircraft - see door/hatch on the side.

How does that helicopter get secured to the deck? I can’t see sailors running out to tie it down with the rotors at speed and the deck being washed like that. How do they prevent a swell or big wave from “tossing” it overboard/skidding it near the edge?

(I have a hunch that someone here knows this answer)
