Just remember the story of the boy who cried wolf. The Pats have been caught (and it was proven) cheating so many times that it is hard to not assume they are doing something illegal.

All the Pats fans will say "sour grapes" but it sucks to know that the Patriots won so often by cheating. It puts a big asterisk next to the wins. We will never know if they would have won so often if they played by the rules.

Details about what the punishment would behave not been revealed but, being repeat offenders, the Patriots could face a costly penalty.

It always cracks me up when ostensibly "grown men" whine and bellyache about multi-millionaires playing a kids' game. Like any of you have anything at all vested in any of this. Until the NFL hands out real consequences for breaking rules, they are essentially saying...

So maybe we should watch some of TV's finest drama's, and reality shows instead....because they are more like real life ???

I work hard all week long, and well into the evenings at my job, and on my farm....come the weekend, I want sit, and watch a good NFL, or NCAA football game for a few hours without guilt. I don't root for the Patriots, or the Titans, but watched every minute of the game because I like the game of football.

It has been a great run......... and it cannot ever be taken back.

Not really, the team is disliked for consistently cheating and never being held accountable.

The record of the Patriots will always be tainted by this, despite what the fair weather fan boys proclaim. Among the reasons I stopped following pro football. It has not been good for the game in the long run.

As I said, in the eyes of the NFL, nothing that any team has done in regard to cheating is a big deal to them. If it were, we wouldn’t be having this discussion.

What’s way more “wrong” is Ped State still has a team. That program should’ve shut down for 10 years.

That's great - more power to you. And I really mean that. My comments are not directed at guys like you. I accept sports as a form of relaxing entertainment for a great many people. I see nothing at all wrong with that, and I'm certainly not trying to assign any sort of "guilt" to anyone who enjoys a good game. Nor would I deride anyone who enjoys watching their soap operas or reality shows. It's all just entertainment, and we each get to choose, without judgement from others, what it is that entertains us.

No, my comments were only directed about those who get so wrapped up in their chosen form or entertainment that they allow themselves to get all worked up and argue about it. To me, arguing about who is "cheating" in football, who is allowed to get away with it, and all of that is akin to arguing over who should get voted off the island in some goofy reality show. Both are controlled by their respective "producers", the owners of the league or the network or whatever it may be. They determine the outcomes to varying degrees in an effort to attract more viewers. Whatever happens is totally inconsequential beyond that. Nothing to get worked up over. That's all I'm saying.
