Thanks for sharing so glad to her of the recovery. I had heard of the loss of taste and smell from 2 other people I know who were infected but now recovered both here in GA. The high fever and severe pain seem to also be common signs. GI tract issues seem to be less common from what I have been able to read but seem to be an indication that symptoms are worse for people who show GI impact vs those that do not.

Very glad that she seems to be mostly done with it.

Our County Executive issued a Local state of Emergency March 16th. And there is supposedly a penalty if you violate quarantine.
ORDERED that each date upon which a person violates any term of this Order constitutes a separate and distinct violation subject to a civil penalty not to exceed the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) per violation per day.
Most restaurants and businesses are shut down, including construction sites.
Of course by the time my wife's test results came in and they told us to quarantine, she was at the stage where it was no longer necessary.
Doctors office took no precautions. He was just going to send her back out with no restrictions. If she had not insisted on the test, he would not have done it.

Type O is supposed to be able to fend off better. Possibly this worked in your favor. We'll never know. Very happy to hear she's on the mend.

IDK about being able to come down with the same flu 2wice, but I wouldn't risk it even if it were a different strain. Her immune system is taxed.

Very glad to hear that your wife is on the mend.

This past week, I spoke with a relative in CT who tested positive and told of similar symptoms and timeline. He also had bad headaches, 103° fever, intense coughing fits and body aches for several days, but also had days in-between where he would feel better. Said he had no loss of taste or smell, had a good appetite throughout and slept pretty well too. No hospital visit.
He's pretty much over it now and has been self-quarantined at home for the last couple of weeks. He's in his early 60s, in good health, and with no underlying conditions. Has no idea where he might've picked it up.

Glad to hear she made it through. Sounds like were a big help taking care of her and advocating for her.

My best friend runs a small construction company. One of his workers in hospitalized with a positive test as of yesterday. He's in his early 40's I'm guessing. Not in the best shape to begin with. Today we asked how he was doing as we know all of his guys and they've all worked on our house. Not good. He's on a ventilator. Hoping for the best.

My wife and I are fine now, health department cleared us from quarantine. Every day I take her for a couple mile walk around the lake in nearby park. But we make sure to take precautions and keep far from others.
Unfortunately, our neighbor told us her 50 year old son is on a ventilator and induced coma. The prognosis is bad. He did have underlying conditions, drugs, alcohol, and Lymphoma.
Best wishes to all.
