Unilever, I love Unilever. My last (paid) job was with Unilever. I miss that place. They are half a soap making place in Port Sunlight near Liverpool that joined up with some outfit in Holland. And had factories all over the world. What kind of did them in was buying Best Foods in America then trying to reduce debt because of their f'up.

I liked it because they would send me to Sydney once a month for an important meeting, so I'd go out to Bondi and get some waves and good times with the company paying the airfare. Then they would put me up in a nice hotel and have me work in Auckland for a week.

The factory in Wellington had about 650 or 700 people and I was the one person who knew everyone's name LOL It was like being back at high school. I loved it.

All true.

Now try Duke's and report back.

I have to buy it through A muh zhone. It's probably available in market near Bazinski.

Vintage America Uncovered
Robinson's Department Store located at Fashion Island at Newport Beach in 1967. This wall chime sculpture was installed by mural artist Tom Van Sant and was mentioned in Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest wind chime.

Shot last fall on film. Thankfully still there and looking gorgeous.

Companies, such as Unilever (that's best Foods to you guys) buy and sell brands all the time. Sometimes the manufacturing plants stay the same, sometimes they don't. But brand loyalty has gone out the window years ago. Unllever were very discrete about what brands they owned and the only give away was the 0800*** number on the back of the container lead back to Unilever's help desk.
