I doubt that anybody intentionally removed posts or pics on that thread to kill off the thread.. The board had a corruption in the indexes.. I'm sure it was all fixable, but since nobody did, we now have a new thread that does exactly the same..

And the old thread is still there for those who want to go back in time.

I really don't understand why people get worked up over that.
Aren't there any worse things to complain about in the world??

I don't get it.

It was not their plan to hurt the thread. They removed every single post on Pelican, and trashed several threads. He wanted to deprive Pelican of his vast wisdom, and he had a lot of posts. It must have taken days to do it.

A forum/DB should be able to deal with that.
There must have been a prior corruption in the indexes

Never had a problem seeing the most recent pics, there were just a few more pages that had nothing which drew us back to the most recent posts, no big deal. So what? Get over it, don't start a new thread.

Why is everybody pissing and moaning over the old thread that has been closed HALF A YEAR AGO.

When the new thread delivers EXACTLY the same function

How much longer are y'all going to cry about it?

Many moons ago a friend of mine used to call those CRLs- charging rhinoceros legs.

There's also "table legs."
