Glen,
May I suggest putting a link to the previous Random pics thread in your first post? For the sake continuation.
That way it does not disappear into oblivion and is easily found when needed.

Taken with an IPhone? Not uncommon. Save to a folder. Open with MS Paint if using windows and rotate as needed and re-save.

Weird, I saw a really bad 80s movie the other day with David Hasselhoff in AZ as a police detective investigating a string of murders that were carried out by the magically reincarnated Jack the Ripper on the London Bridge.

I had no idea this was a thing. I'd never heard of it. According to Wikipedia, it's one of the largest draws of tourists in AZ. I've got to think that's a little bit of a statistician's magic to make that the case, but who knows.

Been on and under that bridge many times. Even stayed in the bridge hotel a timer two.
the bridge is CLAD in the original granite stone from London to make it look the same, but it was built from scratch to resemble the original one.
Guy named McCulloch from chainsaw and outboard motor fame did it to draw people to the city he was trying to build and sell.
It worked.
Ya know they built that bridge o n dry land and then dredged out the channel under it afterwards.

Almost got arrested fer driving a small houseboat under that bridge one time, I did not know my friend's stripper girlfriend was on the roof of the boat showing everything to everyone.
but that's a different thread.

Wikipedia said that the original all stone version in London was sinking and weighed something like 330,000 tons, but that the rebuild of it using the original stones from England only weighed 30,000 tons because it was cladding on a steel frame.

Weird and cool.

The new Random Pictures has been merged with this thread.

The old Random Pictures thread was closed because it didn't work for everybody, but some people were still using it.
If you have a better idea, PM Eric.

Really? I guess because it's like a Timex, it'll take a lickin' and keep on tickin', and it's ugly?

I think the A10 has a lot more character than a Glock. A glock is like a mutt, just looks like a dog, loyal and dependable. An A10 would be more like a British or French bulldog, so ugly it's kind of cute in an unconventional kind of way.

So ... this prolly wouldn't be a good time to start up a duplicate random pics thread? SmileWavy

In 1915, mechanics with the French air corps began outfitting the Voisin III with 37 mm cannons enabling the rickety single-engine biplane to attack targets both on the ground and in the air.

That was "The 1972 Great Daylight Fireball" seen across the Pacific Northwest on August 10 of that year. Some friends an I were in Idaho at the time and saw it. We did not hear a sound from it but some places reported a double sonic boom as it went overhead.

Both the A10 and the Glock 9mm are dependable, feared by opponents, and easy to use.
Ugly? Only to those staring down the business end of one.

attempt at humor, I should keep my day job. If I had one.
I was just a kid of 11 or 12 but I saw it too, passed right over us in Salt lake City. That is to say we saw the trail of it, didn't actually see the thing moving.
We thought it was a rocket from one of the local companies that built that stuff but dad said no way. He built that stuff. We didn't hear nuthin either.
