Mrs. Bill Stagg drawing water from her well, which is in enclosed porch in her log house. Pie Town, New Mexico... New Mexico, 1940

Washing clothes was no small task back in those days. Using a wash basin or, if lucky, a wringer washer was the best you could hope for. Women worked hard from dusk til dawn to take care of their families.

Sears department stores were early radio pioneers. WLS AM radio station in Chicago was owned and operated by them in the 1920s. Here is a WLS engraved base O1A tube in the original box. It still tests as new. What did WLS stand for? World's Largest Store, of course!

A bug in software can also jokingly called a feature of the software.

Yep, IT/Software joke. "THat's not a bug, that's a feature."

Definitely a nerd joke. Though, if you are in marketing in an engineering company, it's also part of the normal product description.

Nah, still got a little life left in it! I'll swap in out on Labor day.

These have a bunch more life left on 'em! I'm going to get them replaced right before I do the belt tensioner so I can take her out for a spirited test drive!

Just run them grossly underinflated and you'll be fine.
