Doesn't it rain almost daily in HI for a short period or two? I used to have a time share in Waikaloa on the big island and I believe that area was sheltered from the rain most of the time by the mountains.

Rain can be sporadic here. The Big Island gets more rain and right now, they are feeling the affects of Hurricane Hone that is passing to the south.

A cool, nerdy lot on eBay right now. Two of the slide rule cases indicate that the lot is out of Odessa Texas and likely tied to engineering college students.

I work for a bank and we still have a number that provides Time and Temperature. And if it is ever out of service, customers call our Customer Service line to complain!

Wow, weird. I work for a bank. I'm not aware of ours doing that, but it's huge, so anything is possible.
