I had a '69 like this- same color combo, no hideaway headlights or cowl induction hood. Bought and sold it for $1,800 a long, long time ago. I'm pretty sure it had a hot-rodded 283 instead of the 302, but it went good.
![]() Had a '71 Camaro like this with a 350 2bbl and 4-spd manual. That was a nice car. ![]()

Here's mine. I can't believe it's 12 years old with only a bit over 37,000 miles on it. I don't drive much. ![]()

Wow, just 3,000 miles per year. That is not driving much for sure. I have put 59,000 miles on my 911 in 13 years. And that is not my daily driver, just my toy.

![]() Throwback Camaro Z28... 'Best Time Ever' 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Then the 1984 911 Carrera was tested. It had the fastest 0-60, 1/4 mile and fastest top speed with a whopping 200 HP! ![]() Robert Pershing Wadlow, born on February 22, 1918, in Alton, Illinois, holds the title of the tallest man in history. He was born a normal-sized baby, but by six months, his parents noticed something unusual—he weighed 30 pounds, which was double the average weight for a baby his age. His growth continued at an extraordinary rate, and by the time he entered kindergarten, Robert was already 5'7" tall, wearing clothes meant for a 17-year-old. By age 8, he had surpassed his father's height of 6 feet and weighed 169 pounds. A tumor on his pituitary gland caused his continued growth, and although surgery was an option, his parents decided against it due to the risks of injury or death, choosing instead to let nature take its course. As he grew, Robert faced unique challenges and continued to exceed typical growth expectations. By the time he entered high school, he stood at 7'5", and by the time he graduated, he had reached 8'4". He was an active participant in sports like football, baseball, and basketball, using his height to his advantage in basketball, where he would dunk with ease. Robert's size required custom-made shoes, and he eventually worked for the company that manufactured them, traveling the country and meeting various celebrities and sports figures. Despite his challenges, he enrolled in college to study law but could only complete one semester due to difficulties navigating icy walkways on campus. Robert Wadlow's life was tragically cut short at the age of 22. After feeling unwell during a parade in Manistee, Michigan, he returned to his hotel and was diagnosed with an infection caused by a poorly fitted ankle brace. His fever rose to 106°F, and after undergoing minor surgery, he passed away at 1:30 a.m. He was 8'11.1" tall and weighed 491 pounds at the time of his death. His funeral, held in Alton, required 18 men to carry his specially made 1,000-pound casket. Robert Wadlow remains the tallest man in recorded history, a title he has held for over 80 years. ![]() ![]() Inside a 1959 7-Eleven in Hurst, Texas. "We need texture so it will pop out of the mold cleaner", "ok, how about trig functions and conversion charts?". I can only hope that one day I will need this. ![]()

We downsized, sold our house in the 'burbs and moved to an apt near downtown. At the same time we bought my boxster. Living near downtown, even though my boxster was my daily driver, I still only put 3-4k miles per year on it. We've since moved, and I go into the office about 50% of the time (5 days every 2 weeks), and that is getting me about 20k miles per year now. So I've ramped up in the last 2 years. ![]() ![]() ![]()
