FWIW. Worked the night shift at a small machine shop with Chip in Franklin, PA. Both of us high school students. Around 1973-74. Drove to Erie PA to buy Stones tickets right after work. Bout 90 minutes north. The 12 pack Chip brought was not enough and we drove to Ohio to get more beer but thankfully only 3.2%.

Couple of adventures on the way home including throttle linkage hassles with my Opel GT. Crashed in sister's bed when I made it home about 1:00PM. Woke up with vomit plastered to my face about 10:00PM. (Better than jail where I should have been)

Stripped the bed, took a shower, ate some grub and watched the 11:30 movie which was The Bridge on the River Kwai.

It was a spectacular movie even with commercials. It was seriously monumental to that young lad.
