The company I worked at had several 4x5 versions of those. For the large format (9x9) inch images) camera we had was too heavy for any human to pickup. The lens alone was 200 pounds, and the camera was 150.

We usually had two men to put the 200 pound lens in the Cessna 206 that came with a 24 inch hole in the floor from the factory. A gyroscopic 100 pound camera mount was bolted to the floor to accept the lens and the camera, and the two film magazines. The film was 9 inches wide and basically 500 feet long.

It was a Wild, RC-30 and it was only $490,000.

I'd have to dig for specific chassis numbers but the Shell Dunlop Porsches were factory built and campaigned. The rest were built and campaigned by customer teams. Amazing legacy. Fun game. Thanks for posting.

I had no idea that some 962s were not made by Porsche. I believe some 956 were converted to 962.

It looks like one of the 962s that Wayne owns was originally a Porsche tub built up with parts from a crashed 956. 956-102 -> 962-112. Later 956-102 was rebuilt.

Also my dad's buddy was trimming a house and this finish carpenter, younger dude with a big boom box, straight blasting death metal. Dad's friend asks him if he could turn down the tunes. Carpenter stares, no words, cranks it up to 11. Alright, thats how this is going to go. Dad's friend goes to the panel and takes the neutral off the temp plug circuit and lands it on the second phase. Instant 240v to carpenters boom box. Hahaha said the radio was literally smoking 🚬 buttrocker finds him and asks, "What happened!?!" Dad's friend said he shrugged his shoulders "Don't Know". Haha classic.

At the old workplace, the data centers were wired off 3 phase feeds, so across two of the phases was about 208 volts. Most modern stuff runs fine on this, anything from 120 - 240 will run it. But old stuff, no. A coworker blew up two old terminals that ran only on 120 before he figured out where he went wrong.
