I don't care enough to Google it, but who is Danzig and why should I care? I never head of him.

That is the computer code for Apollo. Hand written by the lady in the photo. One of, if not the first computers that had a end user interface to control functions.

And she's a cute nerd too!

the Apple TV uses a clip of the wave from underwater as one of their screensavers. I took this video of my tV with my cell phone, so the quality is down, but it's pretty amazing.

Hanging out in Westwood in 1984 I came across an Olympics worker who was about to throw away a bunch of Posters from that same Olympics. When I asked him why he showed me they were all printed in Russian (and of course we all know now that the Russian's boycotted that year.) I've got them around here somewhere - I need to see if they're worth anything...

She's got kind of a Marcia Brady thing going on.

Another Margaret Hamilton:

Of all those Bonds, the one that in my mind eye looks the most like James should is Daniel Craig. He looks like a thug that can fight, and still dresses up nice in a tux. He just looks the part a thousand times better than a pretty boy like Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan.

Only my opinion Craig is the best Bond. Of course I know I am right!

There was a tremendous outcry against the casting of Daniel Craig as Bond, mainly because of his blond hair. That stopped as soon as Casino Royale came out and was so good. Ian Fleming's Bond was tall and thin, and a horrific smoker.

Looks

Facially, Bond resembles the composer, singer and actor Hoagy Carmichael. In Casino Royale Vesper Lynd remarks, "Bond reminds me rather of Hoagy Carmichael, but there is something cold and ruthless." Likewise, in Moonraker, Special Branch Officer Gala Brand thinks that Bond is "certainly good-looking . . . Rather like Hoagy Carmichael in a way. That black hair falling down over the right eyebrow. Much the same bones. But there was something a bit cruel in the mouth, and the eyes were cold." Others, such as journalist Ben Macintyre, identify aspects of Fleming's own looks in his description of Bond. General references in the novels describe Bond as having "dark, rather cruel good looks".

In the novels (notably From Russia, with Love), Bond's physical description has generally been consistent: slim build; a three-inch long, thin vertical scar on his right cheek; blue-grey eyes; a "cruel" mouth; short, black hair, a comma of which falls on his forehead. Physically he is described as 183 centimetres (6 feet) in height and 76 kilograms (167 lb) in weight. After Casino Royale, Bond also had the faint scar of the Russian cyrillic letter "Ш" (SH) (for Shpion: "Spy") on the back of one of his hands, carved by a SMERSH agent.

If you go to the books, yea, none of the actors really fit the Bond description. And smoking is usually for evil guys now days.

Like Sherlock Holmes, he never had the Deerstalker hat or the goofy pipe until actors portrayed him on stage and screen.

Craig just fits my mental image of what a "James Bond" should look like.

Except Bond was based on the SOE and Commandos of WW2 that looked NOTHING like Craig. Fleming himself said he wrote him to be a dandy.
Commandos in WW2, SOE folks in WW2, weren't brutish looking muscle men.. They were lean, athletic and strong, but they didn't look muscular to modern day standards.

Fleming wrote Bond to tell the story of what he and others had done in WW2, but could not talk about because of the Official Secrets act.
Many things in the early books are based on actual operations and people. And they were not Thuggish super men.

So no.. Craig looks the least of all like what Fleming had in mind
Fleming actually didn't like Connory, and wanted David Niven.. who turned down the part.

See : Craig doesn't look anything like David Niven .. He was more of a dandy.. like Fleming was.

If anything, Bond now is no different from Jason Bourne.. He's turned super strong and boring.
And screwed up several times in the last movies.. shameful really..Bond became fallable.. and boring to boot.
