My first PC was a 4.77 MHz PC with 256 megs of memory, and dual 360K floppies running DOS 2.0. and a green screen monitor. Black background, green text, no graphics at all.

I immediately realized I need to max out the memory and went the the DOS maximum limit of 640K. And then I added in a 10MB hard drive to my system and a 1,200 Baud modem. All of that was the big move up from a Commodore 64.

After the rain on Sat. It occurred again on Sun. This was some time after about 2" of rain. Sun it occurred again after ~.5" of rain. We got lucky, there were places "in the area" that had 6" of rain dumped on them, for some of them, 4-5 of those inches came in just an hour or two.

The universal nuclear bomb and tornado shelter from my days in school. We had to get under the desk in bomb and tornado practice. Fire alarms we all had to line up single file, and then wait for the teacher to lead us outside.
