That is the scene that officially made me a fan of smaller breasts.

When we got the news about MTv was gonna hit the airways, we were all exited until realizing that it was on 'cable'. Well there was no cable in or near the small towns in my area. However, a friend of mine had hooked up with an older divorcee, she had just bought a new house in a town @40 mins away. Gues what her new house had? Cable!! So a party date was set, a bunch of us went there had a house / MTv party. From the start of the program we were witnessing modern history...........at least to us

I seem to remember MTV crashing on the first day, maybe I dreamed it?

the 80s... You had to be there to understand.

This is how most of us saw this video! I blame those funny brownies my friend skeeter used to bring to school...

Of course the 70s were much much cooler... and had better brownies!

:D Yup.

I was a fan of these guys after a buddy played me their Only a Lad album back in 1983. Saw them in NYC in '86 or '87. Can't remember the venue or exact date, but it was one of my favorites.

Edit: watching that video again for the first time in a long time...there's so much wrong with it!

In college in the 80s (Cal Poly Pomona), I was in the entertainment branch of student government. We managed to get both Berlin and Oingo Boingo as “major concerts”. Each show was great and its fun to have all access. I would kill to have recordings of those shows.
