Cracks me up when he says "this car should go for $140k, but we are hoping to get more". And then it sells for $120k and he says "that's a good price for that car, right where it should be".

But it's a tv show. we need to remember that.

That being said I am often amazed at the craftsmanship they are capable of. They turn out some beautiful work. I do enjoy watching them because of their abilities. Kindig offers a good balance and is extremely talented IMO. Carrini is also good but never says what he pays for some of his purchases which is annoying.

I know it's a tv show, but those auctions are real life auctions, not made for tv events.
Yeah, he's a real tv personality alright.

I think lots (not all) people could build really nice cars. The trick is finding customers who can drop $300k.

Classic Car Rescue had the worst fake drama. Broken windshields, fist fights, scratches on cars as they came out of paint...so bad.

LOL drop $300k and then wait two or three years to get what you paid for and end up with something you are scared to drive.
That definitely eliminates me from the pool.

I miss Roger Barr, he was a big part of the show IMO. He's retired but I bet he was a hoot in his younger years.

Sammy, not sure where you got that info - Heather Storm is 28. I had to search to check on that, as I didn't think it was possible and got confirmation. She was born 24th of May 1992. Per this link:

Mario from that show purchased Heimrath Porsche in Toronto. I used to be a customer there. He's not acting, that's how he is.

I was just thinking of posting a thread about the metal fabrication these guy do. I’ve only watched a few, but Joe Martin at Iron Resurrection does a good job. I can appreciate the work, but the low ride ever car gets old.

Kin-dig-it is good. Dave seems down to earth and is funny. The guys there are artists with metal and upholstery.

Texas Metal. Good work. Same slam it and big power, like Joe Martin.

Roadkill. Hit or miss for me. Something I could see my best friend and I doing.

Garage Squad. Entertaining to watch, but the just order parts from Rock Auto and bolt it on. Same formula on ever car. The background stories are sad sometimes. Joe’s a smart guy. I like Heather Storm better than Christy Lee.

FantomWorks. Fake drama but the owner seems ok. He’s was enlisted and then went OCS and became a pilot before retiring. I give the metal work a B- or C+.

Garage Squad is just OK, but I don't watch it anymore since they let Heather go. The 'net can't seem to decide if she's 28 or 56. I'm going with 28. Her real name is Danielle Trotta. Should've stuck with that...'Heather Storm' sounds too much like a porn star's name.

full custom garage: good guy, smart, incredible skilz but makes too many bondo works of art, not real cars. Shame.
For some inexplicable reason, I kinda like this show, although I don't care for the stuff that Ian Roussel builds. I think it might be his fearless attitude...he'll take the sawsall to anything, just eyeball it and start cutting. Cut some car right down the middle and narrow it 6"? Sure, no problem...where's my MIG welder? This guy has quite the imagination...kind of like the 'Doc Brown' of the car world.

My all-around favorite car show. Great cars, no BS.

This is my favorite of the custom-builder shows. Dave Kindig was very reluctant to do this show at first and had to be talked into it. Glad he finally gave in...

Hand Built Hot Rods with Steve Strope (his shop name is Pure Vision in Simi Valley CA)
I think he was on for one season around 2018
Seems like a genuinely nice guy with some extraordinary builds. Kindig quality stuff.

I'm gonna have to say no on that.
Prolly her publicist trying to get her more work by making her seem younger.
She was born in 62, in fact she graduated college and had a career in puerto rico, and decided to come back to the US in 2005 to pursue modeling and acting. if she was born in 92, that would mean she did all that by the time she was ..... 13?

How old is Heather Storm? Many people can be confused about what year was Heather Storm born. This is of no surprise. According to such an active lifestyle, which is typical of very young people, one may think that this lady is a youthful person. In addition, our TV celebrity looks gorgeous and stunning; she has a beautiful physique and a lovely smiley face. Some sources even say that she was born in 1992. But the real situation is literally upside down. Heather Storm age is 56! She was born on the 13th of June, 1962. Despite her age, she is a real beauty and looks very attractive.

That show was what got me thinking about the rankings. His metal guys are true artists.

Sammy - this is crazy about Heather - I know this seems like an obsession. Honestly it's not, but this is almost like some conspiracy. I just can't believe that '62 birthdate. I did some more searching - this same site below - with 2 different articles, gives 2 different birthdates - '62 and '92.

https://affairpost.com/heather-storm-garage-squad-wiki-age-net-worth-married-bio-single-family/
Heather Storm was born on 24 May 1992, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

https://affairpost.com/garage-squad-actress-heather-storms-wiki-who-is-she-dating-now-bio-age-married-single-net-worth-husband/
Heather Storm was born on the 13th June 1962, in West Chester, Pennsylvania

Then I looked in IMDB. They show her career (in "film") starting in 2003, and in 2006 was in a film called Dorm Daze 2 (rated R). Here's a snapshot from IMDB for that movie. Seems that Heather is the gal on the right - the room must have been cold. If she was born in '62, that would make her 46 years old in that film. If born in '92, she'd be 14. Can't be either in my mind!

Then I found her own web site - FAQ page states:
https://www.heatherstorm.com/faq

Like most gear heads I was brought up at an early age to appreciate working in a garage. My dad brought home a red 1979 El Camino when I was just 8 years old and I remember it well.

So she had to have been born on or after '71 based on her own site info, but it can't be as late as '92 based on the 2006 movie role.

I think the one universal is Richard Rawlings and his place is on the low end of TV shows to watch. And the last place I would take my car if I suddenly had a gozillion dollars and wanted some hot rod project car.
