No, the correct answer is Bad Chad.

I bet his builds are way cheaper and closer to what the real value.

Yea, there are several TV show builders that I would never want my car to be at their place. Chip Foose had mad skills for design, but I do not want a car done in a week, with 24 inch wheels, slammed to the ground with a 2,000 watt stereo.

The junkyard place might be even lower than Gas Monkey.

The one thing I like the most about Fantom Works was they most of the time discussed price. I understand most customers at a place like Kindigit don't want to admit to the world they just dumped 1/4 million in an old Camaro worth 50 grand.

Yea, he knew what he was doing. And made sure everyone knew that...probably got fed up with RR,

Dwayne, I think? So obnoxious and paranoid that someone would take his job.

He is cheaper. He sources his parts from refrigerators and chicken coops.

On Youtube 'deboss' is a diesel guy, part 'jack of all trades', part 'Road Kill'.

The pandemic forced me to watch all his stuff.

There was series called "Last Stop Garage" and they were in Canada near the arctic circle. Parts were mostly impossible to find except off of junk. They had some um "creative" builds. Nothing remotely like a show car.

I enjoy Ian Roussel - Full Custom Garage - custom car builder and his process of design. That show seems to have no drama added.

Car fix: Jared and Lou were awesome, never missed it. A's for both.
But for some reason they were replaced this year and the show is now pretty much worthless, I had to remove the show from my record list.

Two guys garage:
One of the worst shows on TV period. Almost as bad as goblin works but not quite.
Dufffasses trying to act like street gangstas with all their stupid animated motions, wanna-be wrappers. Like vanilla ice on meth pretending to work on a car.
Absolutely horrible.
it was good back in the old days with Sam Mimosa, but not anymore.

The guys on graveyard cars are finally starting to warm up, the technical stuff are incredible and I've learned to ignore the stupid antics of Mark worm-Er. the show would be much better with him behind the camera instead of in front of it.

Galpin garage's show: Can't remember the name of the show because they keep changing it. Car kings maybe?
Incredible cars, incredible guests, top of the heap as far as car history IF you can stomach the dumb stuff.
10 minutes of intro personal crap, 10 minutes of poser reveal at the end, and in the middle if they have time, they might show about 3 minutes of incredible car work.
IOW, here's a historic famous show car, but it's a basket case.
And when we come back after the commercial, it will be completely repainted, new interior, rebuild drive train, and ready to drive.
Get a haircut, forget the side distractions, and focus on the cars.
Don't show more footage of driving to get parts than you show on restoring the car.

Just about any car show NOT on motor trend: infomercial.

Ian on fourwheeler: A+
Good guy, doesn't take himself too seriously, knows his **** and does great fabrication. Awesome show and I'm not into 4-wheeling, but get rid of the dooosh hair fer pete's sake.

geared up:
new show, terrible acting, painful to watch, won't tune in again. If it makes it to the end of the season something is wrong.

Restoration garage: good show from canadia, I like what they do, but they talk kinda funny

Fantomworks: over-the top faux-anger crap acting, but good details of work on cars.
Cancelled, not sure if I'll miss it or not.

Speed is the new black/texas whatever/iron resurrection/diesel bros etc etc etc generic with two much emphasis on non-remarkable personalities: pass. Not interested.

Dirt every day. awesome show, never miss it.

Any show with Finnegan or Freiburger, must watch. Best on TV period. Dulshich (sp?) is cool too. you can tell he's real.

Hot rod garage: love the show, love the detail and work they do, Lucky is the greatest, it would be better if Tony would tone down the Napoleon complex a couple notches.

Street outlaws: Nope. Fake.

Salvage hunters, nope.

Desert car clowns: they build clapped out crap out of junk with an earl sheib paint job and pretend to sell it for a gozillion dollars, nope.

Truck-U, good show. Bruno does OK, other guy does good. Too much blatant infomercial stuff.

garage squad: good show, Joe Zolper is awesome. Bruno is ok but gets in the way sometimes, but not too bad. I miss heather storm, did you know that she's 56 years old? Very nice.

Cristy Lee is doing OK, needs to relax and be herself. It isn't a photo-shoot

All girls garage: haven't bothered to watch it in many years. And won't.

full custom garage:
good guy, smart, incredible skilz but makes too many bondo works of art, not real cars. Shame.

Richard Rawlings: read too many of his own press clippings, acts like an ass because it's just in his nature. No thanks.

Wayne Carini: class act, good show.

Sammy, I agree with most of it.

I do not like Roadkill, it is entertaining but I pass on it. I do like Junkyard Gold.
Richard Rawlings - pass
Full custom garage - interesting guy but I will pass
Christy Lee - she should stick with auctions, she is a liability on Garage Squad. I like the program because it was filmed in IL and I think the builds are practical and realistic. And yes, I miss Heather.
I miss Fantomworks - the guy is real, the build costs are way expensive and he points that out. His YouTube videos are worth a watch.

Car S.O.S out of the Uk, great show, they restore neat and obscure cars.
Fuzz...great wrench and good guy, Tim...a clown, a bit annoying, but harmless and watchable.
Kind of like an Overhauling premise where they restore a car for the unknowing owner in a 3 week window +/-
The owner usually has had some debilitating illness or situation that means they can no longer work on the car themselves. They have actually had a situation once where the owner passed away before the car was done so the have to get it done timeline is taken pretty seriously. They set up the reveal at the end and there's been a few teary episodes. Genuine car people doing good things for other car people.

I really liked boyd's show but hated doo-wayne. Thought about punching him many times.
Then I met him a few years later at a good guys event at the fairgrounds.
He had a car there. Ford couple, maybe a '32?
Turns out .... that was all A TV SHOW!
Whoda thunk.
The drama, the a-hole act, it was all staged and made-up. The producers and Boyd told everyone their role for the week and what the big hassle was going to be.
Even most of the doofusses they had to fire for incompetency were staged.

They brought one guy in who was supposed to be a car guy but wasn't, and he didn't last the entire episode. In reality he was the son of someone, maybe a producer or sponsor or money guy, can't remember who but it was done as a favor.

I met Dwayne at a Good Guys show in Wisconsin many years ago. I believe he was born in Beloit, WI. I mentioned to him that my wife then went to Beloit College. His comment was she must be smart and rich. What an arrogant putz.

Not any of the home fixer/upper project shows. My daughter has first hand knowledge of one shows dealing with 2 male hosts...

I forgot Chip Foose. I think he's up there with Dave Kindig, Chip has real skills that I've never seen from Dave.

Yea, Chip has won the Ridler more than once. He is top notch, if you have unlimited time and money. He does not build that level in a week, or even a few months. It takes years.
